Horn Switch: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTION

BEFORE SERVICING THE HORN SWITCH.
The horn switch is mounted inside the driver airbag. The horn switch is serviced with the driver airbag. See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air

OPERATION
When the Driver Airbag Cover is pressed, the horn switch makes contact to ground. The ground signal is carried to the horn relay and the horn sounds.
The horn switch grounds to the airbag housing.
