FROM YOUR FILES AND NOTED IN THE 1996 TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN MANUAL (PUBLICATION NO. 81-699-97010). ALL
REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND INCLUDE EITHER RIGHT OR LEFT SIDES AND THE ADDITION OF 1998

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some vehicles may exhibit a whistle (windnoise) coming from the "A" pillar area. This noise is more noticeable at highway speeds. The noise can be
caused by wind lifting the windshield molding at the glass (Figure 1).
DIAGNOSIS:
Verify the noise is coming from the "A" pillar area by test driving the vehicle. Using tape, seal the **right or left** "A" pillar glass area the full length of
the "A" pillar. If this noise is eliminated, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves filling the gap between the "A" pillar and molding the full length of the "A" pillar area.

Clean the "A" pillar and molding area of any foreign material with isopropyl alcohol.
