Hazard Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection
1. Remove multi-function switch, refer to removal and installation procedures.
Multi-Function Switch Continuity Test
2. Using an ohmmeter, test for continuity (no resistance) between the terminals of the switch as shown in continuity charts.
The switch assembly is mounted center of the steering column. Should any function of the switch fail, the entire switch assembly must be replaced.
