If the zipper is sewn at the top, carefully snip and remove all of the threads sewn to retain zipper teeth (Fig 1).

Using the zipper slide (cursor) p/n 68040831AA, load it onto the zipper starting at the top, with the flat (open end) facing up as shown in (Fig 2).
