Convertible Top Latch Position Switch / Sensor: Service and Repair
Switch-Retractable Hard Top Panel To Panel Unlatched

Removal

REMOVAL

1. Remove the panel to panel left latch assembly (2), See: Roof and Associated Components/Convertible Top/Convertible Top Latch/Service and

Repair/Retractable Hard Top - RHT/Panel to Panel Latch Assembly/Panel To Panel Latch Assembly - Removal.

2. Using an 1/8 in. drill bit, drill out the rivet (3) securing the panel to panel unlatched switch (1) to the panel to panel left latch assembly (2).
3. Separate the switch from the latch assembly.

Installation

INSTALLATION

1. Position the panel to panel unlatched switch (1) to the panel to panel left latch assembly (2) ensuring the latch mounting hole is properly

positioned.

2. Install the rivet (3) securing the switch (2) to the latch assembly (2).
