Battery Tray

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the remote negative battery cable.
2. Remove the battery from the vehicle (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - REMOVAL).
3. Remove the left headlamp assembly from the vehicle (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT -

4. Remove the battery tray retaining bolts (Fig. 13) and remove the battery tray from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the battery tray and retaining bolts. Torque the bolts to 14 Nm (160 in. lbs.).
2. Install the battery in the vehicle (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - INSTALLATION ).
3. Install the left headlamp assembly in the vehicle (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT -

INSTALLATION).

4. Connect the remote negative battery cable.
