Flash: Driveability Improvements
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves selectively erasing and reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with new software.

Sebring Convertible/Sebring Sedan/Stratus Sedan
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to 2004 JR vehicles equipped with a 2.4L engine (sales code EDZ) built on or before May 11, 2004 (MDH 0511XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The vehicle operator may describe:

Engine idle speed fluctuation
^
Feeling a bump after closing throttle at highway speed
^
Idle fluctuation during air conditioning engagements or disengagements
^
Hard start and or rough idle after a cold engine start
^
Vibration felt at idle
DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (DRBIII(R)) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures Manual, verify all engine systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs are
present record them on the repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the vehicle operator describes or experiences the Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
