About the Town & Country

The Town & Country minivan was sold from 1990 to 2016 as the flagship of Chrysler's minivans, above the Dodge Grand Caravan and Plymouth Grand Voyager. The nameplate came from Chrysler's wood-trimmed station wagons and is the longest-running Chrysler name. The first three generations were built in Fenton, Missouri, and the fourth and fifth in Windsor, Ontario; the Pacifica replaced it for 2017.

What these manuals cover

• 1990–1995 (first and second generations): the 3.3-litre V6, then the 3.8-litre V6 from 1994, with all-wheel drive available.
• 1996–2000 (third generation): the 3.3-litre V6 (VIN R, and VIN G flex-fuel) and the 3.8-litre (VIN L), in short and long-wheelbase vans with front- or all-wheel drive.
• 2001–2006 (fourth generation): the 3.3 and 3.8-litre V6s.
• 2008–2011 (fifth generation): the 3.3, 3.8 and 4.0-litre V6s, and the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 in 2011.

Tip: the Town & Country is the same van as the Dodge Grand Caravan, Caravan and the Plymouth Grand Voyager, so their manuals of the same year and engine cover the same mechanical work.
