Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle on jack stands or centered on a frame contact type hoist.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly from the vehicle.
3. Remove the cotter pin, nut lock and spring washer from the end of the stub axle and hub nut (Fin. 8).
4. Have a helper apply the vehicle's brakes to keep hub from turning, loosen and remove the hub nut.
