CAMSHAFTS
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the timing belt.
2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor.
3. Disconnect the air breather tube at the valve cover.
4. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube at the valve cover.
5. Remove the spark plug cover bolts.
6. Remove the spark plug cover.
7. Disconnect the ignition wires from the spark plugs.
8. Remove the valve cover nuts.
9. Remove the valve cover washers.
10. Remove the valve cover and the valve cover gasket.
Notice: Take extreme care to prevent any scratches, nicks or damage to the camshafts.
