Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair
2-3 Shift Solenoid

Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the transaxle side cover. Refer to Case Cover, A/T; Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the 2-3 shift solenoid (2-3 SS) (305).

Notice:  Use a small screwdriver to remove the retainer clips. Be careful not to score the valve body when removing the retainer clips.

3. Remove the solenoid retainer clip (304) from the valve body.
4. Remove the 2-3 SS (305).

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the 2-3 shift solenoid (2-3 SS) (305) into the valve body. 
2. Install the retainer clip (304) into the valve body.
3. Connect the electrical connection to the 2-3 SS (305).
4. Install the transaxle side cover. Refer to Case Cover, A/T; Service and Repair.
