Fuel Pressure Regulator: Testing and Inspection
Fuel Pressure Regulator (SOHC)

Removal Procedure

CAUTION:  The fuel system is under pressure. To avoid fuel spillage and the risk of personal injury or fire, It is necessary to relieve the fuel system
pressure before disconnecting the fuel lines.

1. Relieve the fuel pressure. Refer to "Fuel Pump".
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Disconnect the fuel line at the fuel pressure regulator by sliding the connector lock forward and pulling the line off.
4. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
5. Remove the fuel pressure regulator retaining bolt.
6. Remove the fuel pressure regulator by turning it back and forth and then pulling it out.
7. Discard the O-ring.

Installation Procedure
