Oil Pan: Service and Repair
OIL PAN
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right front wheel.
3. Remove the right front splash shield.
4. Drain the engine oil from the engine crankcase.
5. Disconnect the post-converter heated oxygen sensor.
6. Remove the auxiliary catalytic upper flange nuts from the exhaust manifold and the bolts at the bracket.
7. Remove the nuts that secure the front muffler pipe to the main catalytic converter.
8. Remove both catalytic converters as a unit.
