Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming: Service and Repair
Disabling the SIR System
1. Turn the ignition to LOCK and remove the key.
2. Remove the airbag fuse F15.
3. Wait 10 minutes for the supplemental inflatable restraints (SIR) capacitor to discharge.
