1. Install the clutch pedal with the return spring to the mount brace.
2. Coat the piston rod bolt with multipurpose grease.
3. Install the piston rod bolt and the locking washer.

4. Coat the pedal mounting shaft with multipurpose grease.
5. Install the pedal mounting shaft, the washer, and the nut.

Tighten the clutch pedal nut to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

6. Connect the return spring to the mount brace.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
