Daewoo Motor America has determined that the Battery Cable Wire Harnesses may be misrouted on a select few Nubira models produced between July,
2000 and January; 2001 (VINs 579728 ~ 87777). If left out of position, the Battery Cable Wire Hamess may become damaged by the tangs of the Lower
Radiator Hose Clamp. To correct this condition, the Battery Cable Wire Harness should be repositioned to its correct location on the side of the Radiator
Hose.
This bulletin provides the procedure to reposition the Battery Cable Wire Harness to the proper location. The illustration shown provides information
regarding the correct harness Position.
Battery Cable Wire Harness Repositioning Procedure:
1.
With the vehicle hood opened and properly supported, identify the location of the Battery Cable wire Harness along the Lower Radiator Hose.
2.
If the Battery Cable Wire Harness is incorrectly positioned as shown in the illustration provided, simply lift the harness up and away from the hose
