Oil Pan: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine oil from the engine crankcase.
3. Disconnect the post-converter heated oxygen sensor.
4. Remove the auxiliary catalytic converter upper flange nuts from the exhaust manifold and the support bracket bolts.
5. Remove the front muffler pipe retaining nuts from the main catalytic converter.
6. Remove both catalytic converters as a unit.
7. Remove the oil pan flange-to-transaxle retaining bolts.
