Installation Procedure
1. Place the tank against the bulkhead over the mounting studs.
2. Install the nuts to secure the vacuum take to the bulkhead.
Tighten
Tighten the vacuum tank-to-bulkhead nuts to 4 Nm (35 lb.in).
IMPORTANT: The line to the intake manifold goes onto the bottom port, marked S. There is a check valve to maintain vacuum for heater
control during temporary losses of vacuum in the intake manifold. If the connections are reversed, the controls will not function properly.
3. Install the vacuum hoses.
