4. Turn the lobe of the clock spring clockwise to lock. (Do not force.)
5. Turn the lobe of the clock spring counterclockwise approximately three turns to the neutral position, with the front wheels straight ahead.
6. Properly align the pointed marks on the components of the clock spring.
7. Connect the horn and clock spring connectors on the lower steering column.
8. Install the steering column covers. Refer to Steering Wheel and Column.
9. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel and Column.
10. Install the driver airbag module. Refer to "Driver Airbag Module".
11. Install the instrument panel lower cover.
12. Connect the negative battery cable.
