With engine off, pump brake pedal at least five times.
2.
Brake pedal free travel from a point where pedal is free to slight resistance should be .02-.08 inch, Fig. 4.
3.
If pedal is out of specification proceed as follows:
a. Loosen nut (2) and turn pushrod (3) to adjust pedal free travel, Fig. 3.
b. After adjusting rod, ensure proper pedal height and stop lamp operation.
