Valve Cover
(f) Remove the cylinder head cover by loosening the eight attaching bolts progressively over two or three stages, following the sequence shown in
the right figure.
(g) Lock the camshaft timing belt pulley by a suitable iron rod. Then remove the three attaching bolts.
CAUTION:

Never allow the camshaft to turn.

Be careful not to damage the gasket surface of the cylinder head.
(h) Remove the camshaft timing belt pulley.

Removal of crankshaft timing belt pulley.
Preventing Engine Rotation
(a) Prevent the ring gear from turning by inserting a screwdriver into the gap between the cylinder block lower surface and the clutch housing
undercover.
Removing Crank Bolt
(b) While performing the operation described in the step (a), remove the set bolt of the crankshaft timing belt pulley.
