SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Power steering rack and pinion leaking power steering fluid at the pinion seal(s).
DIAGNOSIS
Remove the air cleaner assembly. Clean the pinion area with carburetor and brake cleaner and blow dry. Start engine and turn steering wheel stop to stop
a couple of times and inspect the pinion seal area for fluid leaks. If fluid is leaking from the pinion seal, the seals can be replaced without removing the
rack and pinion assembly.
