2500 4x2 Pickup L6-359 5.9L DSL Turbo (1994)
a. Install gear key in camshaft, then lubricate end of camshaft with Lubriplate 105.
b. Heat gear in an oven at 250°F for 45 minutes.
c. Install gear with timing marks away from the camshaft, be sure gear is seated against camshaft shoulder.

2. Lubricate camshaft lobes, journals and thrust plate and install camshaft and thrust washer. Align timing marks as shown.
3. Tighten thrust washer bolts to specifications.
