Intake Air Plenum: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Air Inlet Tube And Heater Ground Wire

1. Remove the charge air cooler (intercooler) outlet duct from the air inlet tube.
2. Remove the high pressure fuel lines.
3. Disconnect and remove the air intake heater ground wire.

Air Intake Heater

4. Disconnect the air intake heater power supply lines.  Remove the air intake heater and gaskets.  Clean the mounting surface of the intake manifold

cover.
