Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Front Mount
1. Raise hood, then position fan and related components aside as necessary to obtain necessary clearance.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then attach a suitable lifting device to engine.
3. Raise engine slightly, then remove through bolts and nuts from brackets and insulators.
4. Remove brackets and insulators as necessary.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install new bracket/cushion-to-block bolts and torque to 60 ft-lbs, then torque through-bolt nuts to 75 ft-lbs.
