REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves adding shims to the switch for Talon models or adding a foam shim to the inner hood for Avenger/Sebring models.

TALON MODELS

1.

Remove the bolt from the hood alarm switch and discard the bolt.

2.

Place two washers PIN MF450271 between the alarm switch bracket and the body (Figure 1).

3.

Re-install the switch using a new bolt P/N MS240122.

AVENGER/SEBRING MODELS

1.

Clean the inner hood area where the hood switch contacts the hood (Isopropyl Alcohol can be used to clean the surface).
