Thermostat Housing: Service and Repair
Removal - 2.7L
REMOVAL - 2.7L
WARNING: Do not remove pressure cap with the system hot and under pressure because serious burns from coolant can occur.
1. Drain cooling system See: Service and Repair
2. Remove upper intake manifold See: Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Intake Manifold - Removal.
3. Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
4. Disconnect hoses at coolant outlet connector.
5. Remove bolts attaching coolant outlet connector.
6. Remove coolant outlet connector.
