Timing Cover: Service and Repair
1.
Drain cooling system, then remove water pump refer to WATER PUMP.
2.
Remove power steering pump, then the crankshaft pulley.
3.
Using suitable puller remove crankshaft vibration damper from crankshaft.
4.
Remove fuel lines, then remove front oil pan bolt on each side of engine.
5.
Remove timing chain cover. Ensure care is taken not to damage oil pan gasket.
