Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Ensure wheel are facing straight ahead.
3. Remove horn pad from steering wheel, then disconnect horn electrical connector.
4. Remove steering wheel nut.
5. Remove steering wheel using puller No. C-3428-B or equivalent. Do not bump or hammer on steering shaft to remove wheel, as damage to
shaft may result.
6. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Torque steering wheel retaining nut to 45 ft lb
