A minimum of 1/8" gap should exist at each end of the cowl screen.

If the gap on one side checks less than 1/8" and the total gap of both sides adds up to 1/4" or greater, loosen the six (6) cowl screen screws and
center the cowl screen in the opening. Tighten screws to 2 N-m (17 in.lbs.) torque.

If the total gap of both sides adds up to less than 1/4", remove the cowl screen and bend the right and left downturned flange inboard to an angle of
90~, as shown in Figure 2. Install the cowl screen ensuring the cowl screen is centered in the opening and properly aligned. Touch up paint as
required.
