Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair

Fuel Door Remote Cable

1. Remove interior trim as necessary to gain access to cable.
2. Remove screw holding hood release handle to mechanism. Separate handle from mechanism.
3. Remove screws holding release mechanism to seat riser. Separate mechanism from riser.
4. Disengage cable casing from slot on mechanism.
5. Remove nut holding cable end to fuel fill opening.
6. Remove cable from vehicle.
7. Reverse the preceding operation for installation.
