IMPORTANT:

If the two cuts made with the tool did not completely cut the side edges of the scabbard, cut the edges AWAY from the seat belt webbing. DO
NOT cut the seat belt webbing or the seat belt assembly must be replaced.

Using a 1/8" drill bit, remove the head from the anchor spring clip rivet (Figure 7).

Remove and discard the rivet and spring clip (Figure 7).

Install the provided spring clip and clip retainer as shown in Figure 8. Make sure that the dimple on the clip retainer is aligned with the lower hole
on the spring clip.

Secure the spring clip and retainer to the anchor hook with the supplied rivet. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER SIZE OR TYPE OF RIVET.

NOTE: 

The rivet is stainless steel and may require use of a high quality rivet tool.

13.

Using a ball peen hammer, peen the rivet to ensure that it is tightly staked.

14.

Reconnect the anchor hook to the floor or C-Pillar anchor position.

Completion Reporting and Reimbursement

Claims for vehicles which have been serviced must be submitted on the DIAL System. Claims submitted will be used by Chrysler to record recall service
completions and provide dealer payments.
