SAFETY RECALL TO REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE'S SEAT BELTS
Dear Chrysler Minivan Owner:
This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Chrysler Corporation has determined that two defects which relate to motor vehicle safety exists in some 1991 through 1993 Dodge Caravan and Grand
Caravan; Plymouth Voyager and Grand Voyager; and Chrysler Town & Country minivans.
The problems are...
The front seat belt buckle covers (and if equipped, the rear bucket seat belt covers) on your minivan (identified on the enclosed form), may become
dislodged from the buckle mechanism. If this occurs, the buckle release button could stick and cause the buckle to be only partially latched.
In addition, the middle seat, right outboard seat belt anchor clip may move out of position and allow the seat belt to become disengaged from the floor or
body anchor.
Either of the above conditions could cause increased injury to a belted occupant under certain accident conditions.
What Chrysler and your dealer will do...
Chrysler will repair your minivan free of charge (parts and labor). To do this, your dealer will install seat belt buckle cover retaining clips on the front
and, if equipped, rear bucket seat belt buckles. In addition, the clip on the middle seat, right outboard seat belt anchor will be replaced. The work will
take about 1/2 hour to complete. However, additional time may be necessary depending on how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.

Simply contact your dealer right away to schedule a service appointment. Ask the dealer to hold the parts for your vehicle or to order them before
your appointment.

Bring the enclosed Owner Notification Form with you to your dealer. It explains the required service to the dealer.
