Wheel Bearing: Adjustments

1.

Raise and support rear of vehicle.

2.

Tighten adjusting nut to 27 to 34nm (240 to 300 in. lbs.) while rotating wheel.

3.

Stop wheel and loosen adjusting nut.

4.

Tighten adjusting nut finger tight. End play should be 0.0001-0.0020 inch.

5.

Install castle lock with slots aligned with cotter pin hole.

6.

Install cotter pin and grease cap.
