Axle Shaft Seal - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Using Installer 9223 (2), install NEW axle shaft seal (1). Lubricate the inside diameter with Mopar(R) Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-140 to
protect seal during halfshaft installation.
2. Install halfshaft(s). See: Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Half Shaft - Installation
3. Remove fill plug (1) to check and adjust rear axle fluid level. Top off axle with Mopar(R) Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-140. Reinstall fill plug
torque to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.) torque.
