Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Service and Repair
Latch - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Open the decklid.
2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
3. Disconnect the connector of the body wire harness take out for the decklid from the latch connector. 
4. Remove the fasteners (2) that secure the latch (1) to the inside of the decklid (3).
5. Remove the latch from the inside of the decklid.
