Fluid - Differential: Service and Repair

FLUID DRAIN AND FILL

1. With vehicle in neutral, position and raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove axle drain plug (1) and drain rear axle fluid into suitable container.
3. Install drain plug (1). Tighten to 35 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).

4. Remove rear axle fill plug (2). Fill axle with 1.2L (1.2 qts.) of Mopar(R) 75W-90 Synthetic Gear AND Axle Lubricant and one 4 oz. bottle of

MOPAR(R) Limited Slip Additive Friction Modifier. Install fill plug and torque to 35 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
