Tire Pressure Module: Service and Repair
Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) Module - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Position the Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) Module (2) on body seam flange (4) and install mounting nuts (1).
2. Connect wiring harness connector (3) at TPM Module (2).
3. Install wheelhouse splash shield and all components removed to access it See: Body and Frame/Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender Liner/Service
and Repair/Splash Shield - Installation.
4. Perform one of the following to make the system learn the new sensor ID.
a. Use the TPM-RKE Analyzer 9936, with the Scan Tool to program the TPM Module with the tire pressure sensor ID. This is part of the TPM

b. Once the vehicle has remained stationary for more than 20 minutes, drive vehicle for a minimum of 20 minutes while maintaining a continuous
speed above 15 mph (24 km/h). During this time, the system will learn the new sensor ID. This is part of the TPM Diagnostic Verification
