Clutch Release Bearing: Service and Repair
Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: The clutch release bearing and slave cylinder are serviced as an assembly.

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the transmission (1) and place it on a workbench See: Manual Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/TR6060 Manual Transmission - Removal.

3. Remove the two bolts (2) that secure the release bearing/slave cylinder (3) to the transmission and remove the release bearing/slave cylinder.
