Charger V6-3.5L (2009)
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Lock the steering wheel in the center position.
3. Remove engine oil indicator.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
5. Remove the splash shield.
6. Drain engine oil and remove the oil filter See: Engine Oil/Service and Repair.
7. Remove the oil filter / oil cooler mounting stud and set oil cooler aside See: Oil Cooler/Service and Repair/Engine Oil Cooler - Removal.
8. Separate the steering column coupler (1) from the steering gear (3).
9. Remove steering gear (3) to cradle mounting bolts and suspend steering gear aside.
10. Remove the flex plate access cover (1).
