Engine Timing Cover(s) - Removal

Front

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner element housing See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Air Cleaner Body

- Removal 

3. Partially drain the cooling system See: Cooling System/Service and Repair 
4. Remove the accessory drive belt (6) See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal.

5. Remove the accessory drive belt idler pulley See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Idler Pulley/Service and Repair/Accessory Drive

Idler Pulley - Removal.

6. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner (1) See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt Tensioner/Service and
