RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD
1. Clean the gasket surfaces.
NOTE: If replacing the exhaust manifold, tighten the exhaust outlet studs to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
2. Position the exhaust manifold (2) and gasket (1). Install the retaining bolts (5). Tighten the bolts starting at the center working outward to 23 Nm
(17 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the ball flange nuts (1) to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.).
