Charger V6-3.5L (2009)
PARTS REQUIRED:
SPECIAL TOOLS / EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE 2010 LX 3.5L with a 4 speed transmission and NAA or NAE
Emissions Un-sold Units:
1. Reprogram the PGM with the latest software. Help using the wiTECH diagnostic application for flashing an ECU is available by selecting "Help"
then "Help Contents at the top of the wiTECH diagnostic application window. After PGM reprogramming, the following must be performed:
a. Clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules due to reprogramming. The wiTECH application will automatically present all DTCs
after the flash and allow the tech to clear them.
b. Perform a "Module Reset" with wiTECH.
c. Perform a "TLC Relearn" with wiTECH.
2. Type the necessary information on the "Authorized Modification Label" and attach it near the VECI label and return vehicle to inventory.
REPAIR PROCEDURE all Sold Units:
1. Is the vehicle a 2010 or 2009 LX 3.5L with a 4 speed transmission and NAA or NAE Emissions?
a. Yes >>> proceed to Step # 3
b. No >>> proceed to Step # 2
2. Is the vehicle a 2009 LC 3.5L with a 4 speed transmission and NM or NAE Emissions?
a. Yes >>> proceed to Step # 3
b. No >>> proceed to Step # 11
3. Reprogram the PCM with the latest software. Help using the wiTECH diagnostic application for flashing an ECU is available by selecting
"Help"then "Help Contents at the top of the wiTECH diagnostic application window. After PCM reprogramming, the following must be performed:
a. Clear any DTC's that may have been set in other modules due to reprogramming. The wiTECH application will automatically present all DTCs
after the flash and allow the tech to clear them.
b. Perform a "Module Reset" with wiTECH.
c. Perform a "TLC Relearn" with wiTECH.
4. Drive vehicle and perform 6 to 8 wide open throttle 1-2 shifts in the 5,800 RPM range.
5. Connect wiTECH to vehicle.
6. Select PCM.
7. Select the "Monitor List tab.
