Fuel Injector: Service and Repair
Fuel Injector - Installation
5.7L/6.1L
1. Apply a small amount of engine oil to each fuel injector o-ring. This will help in fuel rail installation.
2. Install injector(s) (4) and injector clip(s) (3) to fuel rail.
3. Install fuel rail assembly See: Fuel Rail/Service and Repair/Fuel Rail - Installation.
4. Start engine and check for leaks.
