Slow Cut Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection
Carburetor Components
To test the Slow Cut Solenoid Valve, located on the carburetor, proceed as follows.
Connector M21
1.
Disconnect the wiring harness connector (connector M21).
2.
Apply battery voltage (approximately 12 Volts) between terminals 2 and 4 of the SCSV.
3.
If the solenoid valve does not operate with an audible click, replace the solenoid.
