Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove under cover attaching bolt and the under cover. On 1988 models, remove the center member as well.
2. Remove stabilizer bar to lower control arm mounting bolt, nut and hardware.
3. Remove stabilizer bar bracket mounting bracket bolts, then the bracket and stabilizer bar.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten stabilizer bar to lower control arm bushing attaching nuts until distance from top of threads to top of nuts is
0.83-0.91 inch.
