Insert a ball-point pen or lead pencil into tape slot and press down on cassette as shown in Figure 1. Do not attempt to use a screwdriver, etc.

Turn radio "On".
e.
Press the eject button.

Cassette comes up and out, check cassette and tape.

Cassette comes up, but not out, refer back to Step 1a.

Cassette still does not come up, remove the stereo assembly from the car and proceed as follows.
