Check Door Gap - (Applies Only to Button Application)

Form a rectangular box from dum dum (approximately 10 x 10 x 25 MM).
NOTE:
PRECISION IS NOT NECESSARY.

Place the dum dum piece on the sheet metal shut face (next to the tension reliever button) with the long end pointed outward.

Close the door with enough force to latch it (do not overslam).

Open the door and remove the depressed dum dum.

Measure the compressed thickness of the dum dum. This is the door gap.
NOTE:
A GAP OF 19 MM OR LESS IS REQUIRED FOR THE TENSION RELIEVER TO SET.
