Racheting noise in automatic locking hubs during low temperature operation or after shifting from "4H" to "2H".

is caused by this revolutional difference.

The racheting of the hubs is not detrimental to the components or operation of the vehicle. The 1985 owners manual will advise the customer of the
condition.
