When electric power and voltage decreases to 9 volts or lower, failure light illuminates, interrupting the system. When voltage returns above 10 volts,
system is operational, refer to SCHEMATIC DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DIAGRAMS for wiring diagram.
1. If there is no input of signal in control unit, proceed as follows:
a. Check harness between sensors.
b. Sensor is out of order.
2. If sensor outputs abnormal signal to control unit, proceed as follows:
a. Sensor is not properly installed.
b. Specified tire and wheel are not installed.
c. Sensor is out of order.
3. Use an ohmmeter to measure resistance between terminals.
4. Standard resistance is 420-520 ohms.
5. Replace sensor if not within specifications.
